A purpose-built learning facility for the whole community

With funding from the Skills Funding Agency we have fully redeveloped the building formerly known as the North End Adult Learning Centre (NEAL Centre) in Derby Road.

The Learning Place demonstrates our commitment to lifelong learning and has 10 fully accessible, high quality teaching and learning spaces. The Learning Place provides a permanent venue for residents to access information, advice and guidance on learning opportunities and find out more about other services. The Learning Place is available for organisations to hire/lease space to deliver their programmes and is available to host conferences and meetings.

Be involved!

Whilst we have many ideas for The Learning Place, very few are set in stone. Your feedback and ideas will be crucial for us to provide you, the local residents, employers and partners with a programme of learning and other activities which meet your needs and wants.
